Having worked for more than 10 years in the field of receptor biology in metabolism and physiology, my current research interest lies in developing in vitro and in vivo methods to study biofunctionality of food and bioactives. Expertise in cellular, molecular biology, protein biochemistry and adept at writing, managing, and executing research projects independently. Currently working on determination of taste/flavour response in complex dairy and meat food substrates through cell based in vitro taste receptor assay. In addition, working on antianxiety and antidepressive effect of diet and nutrition through the use of chronic stress animal models.
