Nitrous oxide emissions from non-manure organic amendments to soils

This report provides an update of an earlier assessment conducted in 2014, including recalculation of N inputs and N₂O emissions from 1990 onwards where methods have been improved or revised, how activity data for these sources can be obtained, which N₂O EF1 value should be used and whether non-manure organic amendments should be included in New Zealand’s inventory.
