A Task Force to control the invasive, highly damaging coconut rhinoceros beetle in PNG has been established and has a coordinated programme for action. The Task Force is an innovative government/industry collaboration which has developed a response plan and is working with affected communities and industries to control damage by CRB to protect their livelihoods and local economies.
