CRB haplotype and PCR detection of Oryctes nudivirus from Oryctes rhinoceros tissue (Santo, Vanuatu)

Diagnostic work on CRB specimens. The current study aimed to identify the CRB haplotype groupings for specimens collected from a few locations within the Santo Island, Vanuatu, and to confirm the possible presence of OrNV circulating within these CRB populations. CRB (Coconut Rhinoceros Beetle) was first detected on the island of Santo, Vanuatu, in May 2024.
