<p dir="ltr">Anaerobic digestion (AD) is a well-established technology that stabilises organic waste, produces renewable energy, and generates nutrient-rich digestate suitable for agricultural use. For New Zealand’s (NZ) pasture-based livestock systems, AD also potentially offers opportunities to enhance nutrient recycling, reduce greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions, and increase the value of livestock farm effluents.</p><p dir="ltr">Report number: RE450/2025/057</p>
