The Potential of Silvopastoralism in New Zealand: Research Video

In this research video, we explore the findings of an Our Land and Water project we did exploring the potential of silvopastoralism in New Zealand.

Results of this project include:

  • Livestock interactions are fundamental to consider in process studies.
  • Silvopastoralism is already widely used in hill country, but issues remain in terms of pests, cost of establishment, and Emissions Trading Scheme rules.
