This webinar covered recent drought projections for New Zealand to the end of this century, describing a wetter west and drier east (particularly in winter), a broadening of the drought season from summer into spring, and an earlier peak of drought intensity. This webinar is the first of three in the Growing Kai Under Increasing Dry rolling symposium on drought and the changing climate, a collaboration between the Deep South, Resilience to Nature's Challenges, and Our Land and Water National Science Challenges.
