Summary:

  • GBS is an attractive tool for genetic studies
  • Analyses should account for the data generation process (e.g. allele sampling instead of genotype calls)

Our team has developed such methods for:

  • Relatedness, Parentage, Identity, Gender assignment
  • Linkage, Linkage Disequilibrium (Bilton papers, not shown here)
  • Hardy-Weinberg, FST
