A banana story

Here we summarise some of the work which has been done on bananas by AgResearch from the Tai Pukenga Banana project, to HVN's SUN study and Masters student Simone Frame's study on Aotearoa bananas for feeding the infant gut microbiota. A brief overview of the Bananas on Northland Dairy Farms development grant funded by Our Land and Water (NSC) is included with information from the publication released to the public. The SUN study (funded by HVN) is ongoing and not published, the Masters project thesis has been submitted to Massey University at April 2024.
