This book chapter describes the state of the art vaccines in cattle against Mycobacterium bovis and differentiate infected from vaccinated animals (DIVA) test development; along with the contributions of the TBSTEP EU project in the field. The models for assessing vaccine efficacy in cattle; BCG; improving BCG efficacy; DIVA test; predictors of vaccine efficacy in cattle are highlighted.
